Prepare Love Praise (R) Ministries NFP is a Christian nonprofit organization. We were called by God to share the power of the love of Jesus and the mighty impact of praising our God and King. We do this through books, speaking engagements and short stories and articles.

The ways of our great God are so infinitely creative! It has been a joy to convey His concepts and we hope you will enjoy reading.

Following is one story of how The Lord delivered His people in a very different way as they trusted and obeyed Him in the face of a great threat.

In the history of king Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 we see what looked like an impossible situation.
Three armies had come against the kingdom of Judah and they appeared to be outnumbered.

But king Jehoshaphat had faith that his God was all powerful. So the king fasted and went to The Lord of the Universe to ask what he should do.

The answer seemed very unusual in light of the military forces that were amassing against his province of Judah. A prophetic Word was received that told them to go out the next morning but not to fight with weapons – rather they were to fight with praise – for the battle was the Lord’s.

          What did God tell the king to do? Trust Him and praise!!!

Early the next morning King Jehoshaphat spoke with the people of Judah and instructed singers to praise the Lord as they led the way toward the enemy.

As they approached the battle singing praises God made the three antagonistic armies turn on each other. By the time the people of Judah arrived dead bodies were seen in every direction – none of their enemies had escaped. The nation of Judah was safe and not one person from Judah was injured for no one had engaged in physical combat.

           Praise, faith and obedience to the instruction of God was
         their weapon and the kingdom of Judah was victorious.

Not only were they protected from the fighting they also reaped a bountiful reward. There was so much treasure left in the enemy camps that it took three days for the people of Judah to remove the jewels and other valuables. You can read the full account in 2 Chronicles 20:1-30. 1
